I do hereby declare my unwavering support for Poker in Athens and request that poker immediately be made a part of the 2004 games in Athens.
I believe that poker is as worthy a sport as any other in the games, and it's certainly more worthy than friggin' rhythmic gymnastics. How utterly meaningless.
I believe that poker transcends race, age, geography, climate and cramps. I believe that poker is best played while double fisting a piece of pizza and a cold beer.
I believe that poker athletes are among the most courageous, strongest, smartest athletes in the world, even if they're overweight and smoke cigarettes while competing.
I believe that poker is the greatest game ever invented. Way greater than, say, 52 pickup.
