| Man misquotes poker clichè. Entire table upset. |

"It was a pretty tense table to start with," said Bob Wolf who was in the game. "There was this one maniac who was raising everything and giving a lot of very solid players bad beats. And then the guy bragged 'I'd rather be good than lucky' as he raked in this monster pot. Well, the actual saying is 'I'd rather be lucky than good'. And let me tell you this guy was not being ironic. Pretty much everyone just started attacking him. They went nuts!"
"I could've killed the idiotic, smug bastard" Said Feh Tarty who was the loser in the pot. "I should've taken a break but instead, like a genius, I just went on tilt and blew another rack," Tarty lamented.
"Screw those guys!" said Rob Schwartz, the winner of the pot. "I come here to have fun. So what if I said some clichè backwards? They're just a bunch of sore losers," Schwartz added as he took five racks to the cashier's cage.
After Schwartz left many of the "expert" players said they can't wait for him to come back because they know they'll get him in "the long run" or jump him in the parking lot whichever comes first." |
